Zubah

Zubah is an Atlanta-based DJ and producer working in dubstep, riddim, trap, and bass music. He is an Atlanta native whose sound centers on hard-hitting riddim and dubstep, and later coverage has identified him as an Atlanta-based riddim artist with a long-running release history.

In interviews, Zubah traced his path into electronic music to childhood exposure to house music on satellite radio, Deadmau5, DJ Hero, and early experimentation with FL Studio in middle school. He learned to DJ on a Numark NS-7 near the end of high school, then built momentum through Atlanta shows and nightclub sets while balancing college. He also cited early influences including Boards of Canada, Sia, Deadmau5, Air, Tipper, and ATB, and said he shifted from house toward dubstep and trap as those sounds began to dominate the rooms he played.

His recorded output includes the 2012 two-track So Good to Me EP, the 2018 Z64 EP on Prime Audio, and the 2020 Galactic Heist EP. That period also brought the Bommer remix "Like Ahh! (Zubah Remix)" on Excision Music in 2019, the collaboration "Daedra" with Kleopatra on Subsidia in 2020, and the CyberSecurity EP in 2021, which followed earlier releases on Prime Audio and DirtySnatcha Records. Later singles included Edibles (2023), Rush Hour (2024), I Like The Noize (2024), Riddim Rats (2025), and Another Dance Simulator (2026).

Live coverage and interviews have placed him at Montreal shows, the Quad in Atlanta, and Imagine Festival, where he discussed a forced hiatus and return to performing. "Like Ahh!" was played in Excision’s 2019 Lost Lands set, and he was interviewed at Imagine Festival in 2018. He has also appeared in mix coverage through Music + Essentials.
