RENZO

RENZO is a bass-music producer operating as renzodubs, with releases and artist materials centering on the same identity. Individual uploads such as “RENZO - 10 KD” and “RENZO - FROLIC” sit alongside a project voice built around percussive textures, lush sound design and deep bass-driven arrangements, with inspiration drawn from progressive techno, 2000s dubstep and drum & bass. The project is based on Woiwurung Land and is connected with the Stayns name through the line “linktr.ee/stayns” and tracks such as “I AM STAYNERS” and “I AM JUBBERS.”

In 2022, RENZO. released the Good Times EP on HELTERSKELTER. Label, a three-track set that leaned into 90s-inspired house, tech house and minimal. Released after a year-long hiatus and name change, the EP identified the artist as Ren Phillips. Later that year, HELTERSKELTER. Label issued RENZO. - WHAP and the RENZO. - West Coast EP; in August 2023 the label released RENZO. - TRAPHOUSE. Vol 1, followed by TRAPHOUSE. VOL 2 in December 2023. HELTERSKELTER. was founded by RENZO. / Ren Phillips.

No festival, tour or radio appearances are documented here. The clearest picture is of a producer moving steadily through HELTERSKELTER. Label and a Bandcamp body of work rooted in bass-centric sound design rather than mainstream crossover placements.
