ONARA

ONARA is a masked riddim and dubstep producer based in Los Angeles, California, with roots in the underground bass-music scene. His sound is technically precise, aggressive, and built for dancefloor impact, with tight sequencing, heavy low-end, and doubles-friendly arrangements.

ONARA said the project developed over several years before drawing wider attention, with early momentum coming from SoundCloud circulation and DJs playing his music out. He said much of his digging still comes through SoundCloud likes, reposts, private sends, and underground artist pages, and that his sets are built around fast, cohesive pacing and track doubling. He has said the project began gaining traction around 2020, and that live play and support from other artists helped turn online interest into a fanbase.

Among his releases and collaborations are “SHARPSHOOTER,” released in May 2026; “conceptualize”; “THE RESISTANCE - LASER BRAIN (ONARA REMIX)”; “TUNGSTEN [FREE DL]”; and “MOST WANTED [FREE DL].” “CROWD CONTROL” with HAMRO came out on Cyclops Recordings, and additional charting and release activity followed in 2025 and 2026.

Live activity has become a visible part of ONARA’s momentum. He told iEDM that “SHARPSHOOTER” began as an opener for his Northern Invasion 2025 set, and he described his debut headline show in Montreal as a sold-out milestone. Rave Jungle noted sold-out headline performances and growing demand in North America and Europe, while iEDM mentioned an upcoming B2B with roi* at Rampage and ONARA’s stated interest in playing Lost Lands. His recent interviews present him as an artist still actively refining his sets and releasing club-focused riddim records.
