NODUBPLATES

NODUBPLATES is a dubstep and riddim alias tied to the STAYNS / NO / RENZO ecosystem, with STAYNS identified as a Tampa-based dubstep producer/DJ. The project operates under the NODUBPLATES name across track uploads and releases, and its music is presented as a home for plates, free downloads, and dubplate culture.

The earliest material tied to NODUBPLATES centers on edits, bootlegs, and VIP versions rather than formal label campaigns. Releases and uploads include OFF, OFF (VIP), LA DUEÑA DEL RIDDIM [FILTERED], BACKSHOTS [forthcoming], and the NO PLATES FOR SALE !!!! playlist. OFFCORE includes thanks to Subtronics for support and notes that the track has been played in multiple shows, while OFF (VIP) was kept off streaming because the artwork could not be afforded. That run of material established a release style built around free downloads, plates, and dubplate circulation.

NODUBPLATES’ catalog is dominated by self-released material. The project directs listeners to the STAYNS shop and link hub for access to tracks, with “all tunes” offered there. Several cuts were made available as free downloads rather than label releases, including OFFCORE and OFF (VIP) [FREE].

Live visibility and wider scene context are framed mainly through the project’s own set and track information. A booked set and a full set video are part of the public presentation, and OFFCORE is identified as a track that Subtronics has played multiple times. In the broader STAYNS identity, a separate Spotify artist page appears under a different artist name and does not alter NODUBPLATES’ core profile: a SoundCloud-driven dubstep and riddim alias centered on plates, edits, and free-download culture.
