MYTHM

MYTHM is the project of Mikey Miele, a Vancouver, British Columbia-based producer whose music sits in dubstep and experimental bass, shaped by UK dubstep influence, heavier basslines, syncopated rhythms, and dark atmospheric detail. The project is rooted in Vancouver and moves between deep 140 and more riddim-leaning material.

Miele launched MYTHM in 2019. In a 2025 interview, he described the project as having grown out of early momentum in the North American bass scene, and he said his sound has moved from deep 140 into heavier riddim styles. MYTHM has also said on X that he distinguishes riddim from dubstep, reinforcing the genre focus that has become central to the project.

His discography includes the self-released early run of singles and releases Reload (2019), Obey (2019), Squeeze (2019), Only Way (2019), SELECTA w/ SKEW (2020), Clash (2020), Nightmares (2022), Questions EP with Hypho (2023), and Mind of Madness (2024). Mind of Madness came out on Deadbeats in April 2024 and spans 12 tracks, including “Death Wish” featuring Slowie and “Rough” featuring Rakjay. Other notable releases include the Crooks EP on Wheel & Deal Records (2021), the Reflex EP with Matheny on Wormhole Music Group (2021), the Angst EP on Wormhole Music Group (2022), the Technique EP on Artikal Music UK, and the Goodfella release on Deep, Dark & Dangerous (2024). His collaborations also include ASHEZ, dope, Wraz, Frigid, Tappa, Hypho, Logan, and Caspa.

Live, MYTHM has appeared at Shambhala Music Festival, Lost Lands, Lightning in a Bottle, Red Rocks, Bass Canyon, and Sound Haven, and 2025 coverage highlighted a “MYDDM Tour” built around unreleased collaborations with Aweminus, Infekt, Jiqui, and others. Support has come from Skream, Mala, Truth, Rezz, Zeds Dead, Caspa, and N-Type, and recent posts on X pointed to a Lost Lands appearance and the release of “SIMON SAYS VIP.”
