HURTBOX

HURTBOX is a bass music producer from the south of France, identified as Rudy Guillem by his management page. His sound is described by The Shalizi Group as explosive, distorted, hard-hitting, and rooted in underground dubstep and riddim, with his work presented alongside his twin brother HOL! and their earlier duo STRANGER TWINS. Spotify lists him as an artist with 129K monthly listeners, and his profile image there matches the HURTBOX identity on SoundCloud.

Before moving into a solo career, HURTBOX was part of STRANGER TWINS with HOL!. The Shalizi Group says the pair went on hiatus to focus on individual projects after making waves in the underground scene. That same bio places his rise in 2023, when he launched the UNCHAINED mixtape series and began drawing wider attention through unreleased mixes and high-impact bass tracks. The management page also frames his profile through collaboration, especially with other scene names such as SHIVERZ and Aweminus.

Among the releases and collaborations specifically named in sourced pages are “KNOCKOUT” with SHIVERZ in 2023, the second installment of the UNCHAINED series, “SAGA” with HOL! on HOL!’s BRULURE album, and “RUN DAT AGAIN” with Aweminus. A Beatport artist page is listed in search results, and rateyourmusic entries also associate HURTBOX with releases such as Psycho & Retox (Remixed) with DVRE / Madcore and other riddim catalog appearances, but those results were not readable as primary release pages here. The management bio adds that a sophomore EP was forthcoming in 2025.

Live, HURTBOX was billed for Lost Lands 2025 and had a 2026 Lost Lands date listed in Apple Music/Bandsintown, which also shows a tour stop at Legend Valley, Thornville, Ohio. A SoundCloud upload titled HURTBOX LOST LANDS 2025 confirms a live set under his account. His verified links from management include his YouTube channel, Twitter/X, Instagram, and a PayPal.me page, but the strongest identity markers are the SoundCloud handle, the South of France origin, and the connection to HOL! and STRANGER TWINS.
