Getorix [𝐍𝐆]

Getorix is a dubstep producer from Newcastle, Australia, associated with the Nang Gang and active in the heavy bass and riddim-adjacent corner of the scene. His work leans into aggressive sound design, remix culture, and collaboration.

His earliest clearly identifiable releases date to the mid-to-late 2010s. In 2017, Chibs and Getorix appeared together on Disciple Round Table’s “Portals,” and their “Blazin” and “Blazin VIP” moved through the same circuit. Getorix was also part of the Australian “Nang Gang” crew alongside Chibs, Duffeey, and Bueg, and his own release titles point to a remix-forward approach, including “Black Raptor,” a rework of Infekt’s “Raptor” and Akira & Subfiltronik’s “Black Knight,” plus a Getorix remix of Akira & Subfiltronik’s “Black Knight.”

Other collaborations include “Aweminus x Getorix x Chibs x Definitive - Green Card,” “Getorix x Chibs x Meriki - Doctor Strange,” and “Getorix & Metlad - Zumu Yun [Getorix VIP].” He also released “Getorix & Chibs - Doe” and a remix of Wiggum’s “Hypnotic.” Additional Disciple Round Table material connects him and Chibs to “Portals” and its remix packages.

Live activity appears around late 2019 and 2020, including a debut Australia tour in December 2019 and a “Nang Gang” livestream in April 2020. The Newcastle location and booking contacts associated with him also remained consistent across that period.
